Any Star Trek fans who watch Heroes? Sorry to top post, but I was catching up on the Heroes episodes I missed. Did anyone notice that George Takei's (a.k.a. Sulu on the original Star Trek) license plate was NCC1701 (also coincidentally the # of the USS Enterprise)? I'm totally geeking out on this! P.S. Jessica is so TOTALLY HOT.

That's the one I usually don't get drawn into shows like this, but this one has definitely captured my attention. There are plenty of Star Trek references in this week's episode also. Live Long and Prosper.

Yep, caught it The "Live long and prosper" line cracked me up too. I don't normally watch it, but I hear my talking about it a lot. I sat down with one of them who's been home sick all week and wanted company watching it.

I think I'm going to get rid of my vulcan sized jeans, in honour of accepting myself this V-Day. I have to be 130lbs to fit into them, and I'm happy at 140 lbs. I've kept them for a couple of years thinking that I'd someday diet and fit back into them, but quite frankly, I don't want to sacrifice the curves! Besides, 140 is easy to maintain and perfectly healthy for me at 5'6". I declare V-Day to be healthy body image day! Everyone wear their fancy panties!

5'6 and 140 sounds perfect! I wish I were that tall, but alas, only 5'4! I never got to see the fights in high school!

I'm pretty lucky. I work at it too, but the curves are a genetic gift from my grandmother (father's side).

I weighed x AFTER I had my kid. I am now down to x x years later! It was a slow process, but I lost most of it when I came out! Marriage was just all together a bad thing for me. I was depressed, fat, and just all around miserable person!

me too! I knew I had to change my life, but I wasn't ready to dump my boyfriend of x years. I was x, depressed, pretty miserable actually. The first thing I did was cut my hair back to a short pixie. Then I lost the weight. I did it through Dr. Bernstein's program because I'm hypoglycemic and I wanted my blood sugar monitored constantly. It was expensive but it only took x months, and it's stayed off! Well, the x lbs I've allowed to creep back, but I'm careful to keep it underr x. I don't EVER want to have to lose a large amount of weight ever again! The day I told my ex BF that I was going on the program was the day I knew I had to break up with him. He was being so discouraging and when I asked him why he couldn't just be supportive of my decision to lose the weight he said, "Because I don't want to have to comfort you when you fail." I'll never forget that. So when I was super hot vulcan woman x months later and kicked his ass out, I knew I would be just fine without him. And I came out six months after that. :)

not to be gross... but remember the post from a couple of days ago about the woman who wanted surgery on her labia? from the headline of your post here, i thought for sure it was going to read: "i think i'm going to get rid of my vulcan sized labia!!!" holy crap i can't stop laughing right now...*whew*
