WTF--Friday Surfs Up! Pics sent to me, a 47'Coast Guard Life boat in the swells a couple of weeks ago. This storm has much larger swells. Note the dudes on the flybridge as it heads into the wave.

Nope, the last pic is after it is fully righted. This is a 47' USCG Motor Life Boat built to roll in the surf. When knocked down as in the second to last pic, it will self right. Much like a sailboat will do when knocked down during a storm if properly prepared.

what a relief. they were prepared for the roll. I would need at least 6 wrist bands for that trip. i would bark when upside down. hmm that sounds like a plan.

what the dog? Sometimes the dog sleeps on the end of the bed. But last night she stretched her big German Shepherd herself out full length next to me in the middle of the bed and I kept waking to find her gazing into my eyes and licking my face. Um... Honey? Your dog is putting the moves on me. Maybe it was just cold.
