Up date on my day working with Habitat I had a wonderful time. I was surprised on their program. They also are using all green products. It's still in the early phases but it's moving quickly. I enjoyed the small crew I worked with. My right arm and back sure are tired today but it's a good tired. I can't wait to do it again next Wed. Oh and the mud there was lots of mud. I'm just glad that I carry an extra pair of shoes in the car. The women look so damn hot on ladders and hard hats. Made for a better day. Thank you every one for your words of encouragement.

The greatest words to hear from a volunteer are yours - "I can't wait to do it again..."

I'm going to see if I can get the same supervisor I had this time around .I liked her work ethnic. She believes in working hard. We only had 5 women and 2 guys on our team and we got more done than the guys who had 12 to 13 people. I learned a lot.

Other words that hearten "I learned a lot." Assisting volunteers in learning the skills to perform the needed work is an important component. It sounds like you had a great mix of people.

I'm good at asking for help if I don't know what to do and when they asked someone to check something, for sure I was there to see how it's done and asked a lot of questions like "what are you doing? or "what are you looking for?" I learned about crowning. When the gentleman was showing me he let me do a few and I got it. Crowning means to look for the warp in the studs and making sure you have all the warps the same way when building. I just made myself laugh rereading this. Too funny
