Do you know what happened with amazon’s deranking issue? I have some conspiracy theorist leanings and don’t quite believe the whole computer glitch idea, but haven’t heard any evidence one way or the other. What DVD did you get?

the 1967 series of The Avengers Diana Rigg in colour!!! Actually,this is the first thing I've ever ordered off Amazon so I don't know about the de-ranking thingy.

I hadn't heard of that Thanks for the link. It seems odd that they'd deliberately do something that would lose them a lot of custom.

who knows? Might have gained them a lot of right-wing customers. And by doing it quietly (like they tried) if it worked it may not have cost them many customers. Plus, I'm sure many of their customers are like me, most things I search for aren't directly GLBT related (my last purchase was a book on dental techniques). So I probably wouldn't have realized there had been a change if not for the publicity.
