Tally... I went to pick him up this morning. I was told that his butt is too small and that Penn was not interested in taking him on as this is common and there is no surgery that will help. They chose to euthanize him since his life would be one of pain and poor health. They did it yesterday around 3pm. They could have ed to tell me. RIP little man

When I was waiting to see the doc this morning there was a woman there who has been fostering dogs for 1 1/2 yrs this was her 25 dog. She said she has lost a couple and it always hurts. What helps her is knowing she has helped 24 other dogs get homes. So with that I know that I have found homes for 3 kittens so far, and will have homes for the other 6 and their mom soon. This has been a hard few days for me but nothing compared to what Tally went through. Thanks for the kind words and support it helps a lot.

I'm sorry LP He was a gorgeous little man and thank you for giving him a loving family and as happy a life as he could have. I am sorry it was so short.

It's very sad that they couldn't help him. You did everything you could, and the love you gave him made a big difference in his short life. You did a good thing.

They should have ed... I'm so sorry. I know you had probably wanted to say goodbye. I know I would have. You did a wonderful thing! I don't know you but I'm proud of you. Your heart hurts right now but I hope you find the strength to keep doing that wonderful thing ed fostering. Goodbye, Tally. Know a very wonderful family loved you until the very end.

I'm so, so, sorry LP. You did so much for him, and you're doing so much for the animals. I know it doesn't take away the hurt from losing him, but it's a good and honorable thing. The vet should have ed you - they handled this very badly. Argh. Thoughts go out to you and Tally, and all the kitties, today.

You loved him and did the very best you could . I'm so sorry for your loss. Not being able to say goodbye must hurt. He was a beautiful little man.

I'm sorry for your loss I had a little kitty with a heart defect and it was hard to let her go but I know her time was comfortable and she knew she was loved.

Yo Dudette.... chin up! You did the best you could fot the little guy and he was lucky to not have a life of misery. My thoughts are with you, you are a good soul. May peace be with little Tally and with you. Warm regards.

so sorry I'm sorry you lost him. You and your wife made a huge difference in the little guy's life, and his siblings will have better homes because of you. That vet's office REALLY dropped the ball when they didn't you, but try not to dwell on that too much since it can't help Tally and will only tear you up. If I were you, I would build a little shrine for him, to remember the happy times he had in his short life. You and your wife are awesome for taking in those kitties.
