honestly...everytime i see wedding photos, the bridesmaids always look less than thrilled that they are NOT the ones getting married. some clearly have visible tattoos, aged terribly, wrinkles, scars, a couple , etc. even in the audience you can see the bitter looks on the faces of the "well wishers". haha in a way i kind of feel for them, kinda. i know its most womens dream to have a wedding but when they dont get it and they go to someone elses, it bothers them on the inside. guys arent having heartaches because they cant find "ms right" to marry. maybe if they werent such bitches to the "nice guys" they might be the ones walking down the aisle. instead, women like this pass over these men who they feel are "nerds" or weak for the physiy tougher or loser whos just spinning his wheels. soon these women have a kid or few then become more bitter. sad. have you experienced this before?

no...the weddings I have been too and have seen...everyone was having a fun time and enjoying themselves...no bitterness at all. Could be the liqueur consumed :-P

I am not a christian...so what way should I live? A modern day wedding was not the norm back in the day...it was a celebration of love and two people sharing their lives together, not how many damn gifts can I get and how expensive my wedding shall be and we can start our new lives deep in debt...pretty stupid to me

i can tell in pics that some bridesmaids have aged terribly and have tattoos in certain places, of exotic animals. from actually going to weddings i see that some of them actually had . also, looking in their eyes you can tell that there is a slight trace of envy

Nah I've never noticed anyone looking bitter at weddings, but maybe that's because I'm always having too good of a time to really notice it. Wait, I take that back. There was x woman at my best friend's wedding who was bitter because she wanted the groom, and another woman who was mad at my friend for "stealing [her] thunder" and threw herself on the bride's dress. So yeah, I guess they were bitter.
