BB- people experience the Call to love God in various ways. I can empathize with what she is saying, I am glad however that I do not perceive Jesus ing me to celibacy for life. I have a drawer with meditative things in it, and if I ever get the stuff on the top settled into my new home somewhere, I may dress it as an altar. I will not be keeping consecrated hosts there however, unless it is right before or after a communion visit to a shut-in. I don't think about Jesus being in the room next to my bedroom. It may sound freaky-but that is too far away for me. I do not believe that God is voyeuristic, but blesses our loving relationship (Bless really means to announce happiness/goodness-curse is the same word with a negative flair).

Many people have a bouncy, intense response when first enlivened by the Holy Spirit. I think the spirit somehow moves through many faiths, and that this experience of renewal can be very powerful. She reflects that renewal and commitment. She has made a marriage like commitment, and unless she comes to a time where she perceives God releasing her from that vow-I hope she maintains it. She is content and in Love. different strokes for different folks.

Oh yeah..totally flossed up! Went on a job interview in North Carolina. It was x miles each way, and three hours each way. I arrived only to hear her say that I don't have the experience they want.

And yeah, I feel stupid because I didn't look at the video first. I assumed tat this was like I resent or I confess...

many years ago I phoned up a police force and asked if they had any vacancies. They invited me along for an interview there and then but when I arrived they apologised because I wore glasses and they had a policy of not having active staff who wore them. They hadn't thought to ask me that over the phone and I'd had over an hour's drive to get there.

i totally thought that was going to end differently, like the time my friend was drunk and got into the back of a police car thinking it was a cab. I thought you actually phoned them up looking for vacancies like a motel and they were all sure, come on down :)
