Thanks, Dash... but, as I re, some of those posts were good ones and I'm not just referring to mine. I was truly wondering why entire threads are thrown out or why specific posts hit the bricks within a thread. Ngative and positive ratings should be enough to alert readers. C'est la view (so to speak). ;-)

If a post is 62840ged, all responses to it go with it.

Thanks, i_wt... now THAT process seems logical to me. But who decides if a post, OP or otherwise, is so offensive to the majority that it must be deleted? Some stay, some go, but the process remains unclear to me. As an example, I think it was LON who mentioned three days of her posts disappeared. Her responses seem quite helpful and are topic related... so I was just wondering. Thanks.

Its up to each user to 62840 posts. The guideline is the Terms of Use, which we all agreed to abide when we signed up. When a post receives enough 62840s, a number known only to CL staff, the post is 'reviewed' by staff and deleted.
