Now that we know for sure your mom is going to be ok. That's how my mother was killed, only her neck fracture was c1 and c2. I'm so relieved to hear your mom will be fine. How far away does she live? Will she need help for awhile?

Thanks, NK. I really appreciate your words earlier. Just being there for me. Thank you. :) My aunt (Dad's sister) is retired and they are very close. So she'll be taking care of her as long as my Mom needs the help. That's a good thing, since it allows my Dad to keep working. Mom lives in Mississippi, about 14 hours from here. I'm set to go on vacation this Friday, and was heading straight to Oklahoma. Now I'm going to re-route and go see her for a couple of days first, then head on to OK.

That's great! It's such a worry when they live far away from you. Where abouts are you going in Oklahoma? That's my old stompin grounds. Good people there.

A little town not from Lawton/Ft. Sill ed Apache. That's where my Mom is from, and all of her family is still there. I lived there until I was 11. I haven't been to visit in about a decade, so it's much overdue!

OMG, lol, small world! We're from Altus, just south and west of Lawton. If we wanted to do any real shopping, we drove to Lawton. I envy you. I would love to go back. :)
