I resent this headache

I resent I forgot a camera this morning. My oldest got an award at school and I didnt get a picture.

Is it possible another family got a shot?

i resent several things but i just found out my employer is now giving partner health benefits. so screw resentment! i never thought i'd see this day :-)

along with my new cast iron dutch oven :-) i thought of you the other day, btw --- when i brought braised fennel and roasted chicken for lunch. not vomitous one bit.

no fennel for you? i love the stuff this was the first time i'd ever had it cooked. very different than raw, but still great. i'm thinking of either a braised endive or brussel sprout dish for T-day. pearl onions are yummy, but i don't know about eating a whole serving of them....

i'm trying to come up with a fabulous not pumpkin pie dessert, if'n you have any suggestions. i thought of apple bread pudding, but seems kind of carby after a heavy meal.

oh! brussel sprouts with brown butter sage and pecans would be fabulous. you can make it in advance and finish it in the oven for five or six minutes, or do the butter sage nut magic wherever you are in about eight minutes.

OMG please come cook for me.

something with pears perhaps here's something interesting: Pears Poached in Earl Grey tea, with dried fruits

This is yummy, easy, and light This is good too....soak x pint of blueberries in triple sec or cointreau for x week (or x day), spoon over lemon sorbet. Pears poached in port is delish too.

aren't blueberries over now? it does sound delicious, though :-) i'd love to do a linzertorte / (scroll down) but probably not - people cry if there's no pumpkin, apple, and mince pie, and x pies are more than enough....
