We have a roller derby team?! I went to my first Pride today since I was in the area, and near the end of the parade was the Arizona roller derby team. Holy shit. I had no idea. I had no idea what to expect for the parade bit, so I was a bit surprised at the sheer number of exhibitionist folk out here. And between all the costumes that the guys were wearing I thought we'd have all the "Village People" outfits covered. (We were missing the indian chief). So, anyone have fun moments from past Pride parades/festivals?

We always enjoy seeing the Sisters of Perpetual lndulgence, who come up from SFO and of course, the Dykes on Bikes and the drag queens from the local dance clubs. I love it when the brave professionals like cops and firefighters get out and march when there may be so much at stake for them to do so. Yeah, they're a ton of fun. We had the local chapter that operates out of Flagstaff(?) during the parade, and helping out with the rest of the event.

My wife and I were pretty much prudes so seeing the naked gals with AWESOME body paint jobs in Montreal was very interesting.
