Food... so tomorrow's the "graduation" pot luck at work :-) 2 months of training down, and I am READY!! So I'm bringing fried zuchini and baked spaghetti for my dishes. Do ya'll have staple items you know are a hit so you take every time you do a pot luck type deal? What are some of the things you make?

not taking food to work this Xmas Last year there were bags and bags of uneaten food thrown out,shocking waste. I have friends coming round for nibbles in the New Year,I'll be making hot raspberry sauce over vanilla ice cream,also having a cheese board

Pancakes! I do my frenchtoast with strawberries and cream... oh my gosh :-) thick slices of french bread soaked in vanilla custard... sigh. Now I'm jonesing lol

I usually bring something vegitarian I like to mix things up so I usually don't make that same things. The dishes I would make are a cous cous thing or quinoa blueberry (or other seasonal berry) thing.

can you post the quinoa berry recipe? That sounds really good.

Wild rice salad Wild rice and brown rice half and half, mixed in sesame soya dressing with fried tofu and mushrooms. Hearty and good.

I make a pretty good coconut fried rice that's a hit at the vegan potluck (I'm not vegan, FWIW.) I also made an enchilada casserole that was pretty good.

do you care to share the fried rice recipe? You don't have to if it is a pain to type out.
